Transparency of the selection
When this option is selected the selection will be transparent, the underlaying
image will show trough.
Show filter on alpha channel
If this option is set, then all filters will be applied on the alpha channel
(transparency) too. If not the transparency of the image will not be changed.
Soft edge of brush
If this option is set then the edge of the brush is softened when drawing. This also
applies to the text tool.
